From Sony Studios, it's America's Game!
WHEEL OF FORTUNE
Wheel Across America / Olympic Games Sweepstakes Week 1
EPISODE #2510
Here are today's contestants!
Jean Mansell is from Pheonix, AZ. She's been married for nine years, and has two children (Victoria, 3.5, and Elizabeth, 1.5). She still has fun with events, like murder mystery dinners.
Deelight Williams is from Marysville, CA, but was born in Trinidad. She married a serviceman 22 years ago (today's her anniversary!) and came to the U.S. since. She has a child, Ronald, and works at a bank.
Cathy Carson is from Cave Creek, AZ. She won $10,000 yesterday after a rough game!
Oh hey, this trip to ARIZONA on the wheel is going to be useless for two of our contestants! (it's later revealed to be $4,900.)
Cathy solves HAPPY MOTHERS DAY OF RECKONING for $4,000.
Deelight solves A MUSICAL BLAST FROM THE PAST for $4,900!
I'm not reposting the puzzleboard just to put a non-red and blue C up there. All the giveaway letters are above.
DING-DING! DING-DING!
Really? We were so close to being done, then you ring the bells? Well, vowels worth nothing, realistically Jean is going to get another $300.
Jean: H ($10,050)
Yeah, I was right. Jean namedrops the nonmarried couple KURT RUSSELL & GOLDIE HAWN for $10,050.
Cathy departs with a 2-day total of $14,000 cash.
This is the last chance for these prizes, Jean:
A Windstar worth over $27,000!
A Winnebago Rialta worth over $41,000!
$25,000 in cash!
Still, only the first three of WHE are available. Jean picks the H
The camera matrix is messed up, causing RSTLN E to come up oddly...
No, seriously, a wideshot of the puzzleboard happens, then the RSTLNE graphic pops up after Vanna turns over the N, and the contestant circle doesn't appear until after the contestant calls her letters, MPW O.
For some reason, the letters fade out before the time starts, and Pat thinks the contestant will be stumped, but nope. Jean instantly solves PICNIC for the 1996 Ford WINDSTAR worth $27,774!
Jean's mom runs down to meet her daughter, $37,824 richer!
...except when they run to the Windstar, the door is locked. Pat capitalizes by jumping in the car window and not letting either of them in.
Pat Chat: Vanna comments on how graceful Pat was jumping into the car window. Pat retorts that if she had guts, she would have done it, to which Vanna replies she would with pants on. Pat's been in a jumpy mood, even running in front of Vanna as she made an announcement earlier.
