From Sony Studios, it's America's Game!
WHEEL OF FORTUNE
Olympic Games Sweepstakes Week 2
EPISODE #2515
Here are today's contestants!
Geri Bader-Saltzman is from Denver, CO. She's a recruiter who works with attorneys. She's written a book on how to find work, and for a hobby, does public access TV, where she interviews crazy people. Oh, she's also married.
Kimberly Proxter is from Oceanside, CA. She's drives a school bus. She's married with one daughter (Asia - she'll be 2 in June)
Melody Anderson is an attorney from Redondo Beach, CA. She's a Dodger fan, volleyball player, and good Wheel of Fortune player with $33,450 cash and prizes under her belt. She won a trip to the Netherlands yesterday.
Round 1 adds a SILVER tea set to the wheel.
Kimberly reads off SURE-FIRE METHOD for $1,200.
Geri has some money in her BROWN PAPER BAG OF TRICKS.
DING-DING! DING-DING!
Geri essentially gets one more letter to try to solve this puzzle. Vowels worth nothing, consonants worth... $250.
Geri: I (x1)
Geri says PONCE DE LEON, then stammers, then continues SEEKS THE FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH. It's accepted as a solve.
Well, PONCE DE LEON SEEKS THE FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH, but Geri seeks another $20,000 and the win!
Melody departs with $33,450, and I don't think she's complaining.
Geri clarifies that her public access show for "crazies" is for people with unusual lifestyles. Behind one of the H and L is a Ford Thunderbird, the other is $25,000. She picks the L, which ironically, is all the help she gets from RSTLN E.
CMY O... are interesting.
Geri tries A PLUM, PALAMONI, BALONEY, PALOMI, BOLOGNA, PALOMA, and gives up as her DIPLOMA pops up. Unfortunately, she misses out for the $25,000. Still, $21,800 is a bit of cash.
Pat Chat: Pat talks about how he ate a lot of bologna. Vanna mentions that she normally eats her bologna with mustard or maybe mayonnaise, but not lettuce or tomato, like Pat suggests.
