It was uncertain whether former Executive Producer Nancy Jones was still with us. A comment on her WOF Wiki article claimed that she died on June 30, 2018, but another comment from 2019 claimed she was alive and well.

Nancy Jones died at her home June 30, 2018. Born and raised in California, she had a long career in the television industry defined by her time producing the Wheel of Fortune. Nancy was nominated for 13 Daytime Emmys and produced the Hawaii Horse Expo, proceeds from which benefited the Humane Society’s Horse Rescue Fund, which helps abused and abandoned horses on the Big Island. Nancy also created a sanctuary for rescued horses – the Circle J Sanctuary Foundation in Waimea.
