From the Sony Pictures Studios, it's America's Game!
WHEEL OF FORTUNE
WHEEL GOES TO THE MOVIES
EPISODE #2909
Here are today's contestants!
Justin Crusay is from Las Vegas, NV. He teaches the blind and visually impaired. For fun, he enjoys rollerblading, working out, seeing Vegas shows, and is dabbling in indoor skydiving.
Tanisa Jeffers is from Dallas, TX. She's a law student, a senior at the University of Texas, Austin. She's currently a law clerk and a second-year law student. Her dad used to collect change, so she collects it as well, and gives it to her niece and nephew. Pat ends up giving what was in his pocket to the Tanisa, 39 cents. For the sake of this recap, that money won't count toward her maingame total
John Burkett is from Charolette, NC. He is the owner of a pipe organ service. During his free time, he likes woodworking, fishing, and watching races.
I was wondering if Justin knew the puzzle already, but judging by his eagerness, I'LL TAKE THAT AS A YES.
Round 2 adds tickets to the premiere of Hope Floats starring Sandra Bullock and Harry Connick, Jr. It opens May 29th! Also included is round-trip airfare and a three-night stay in the premiere city. It's a dream package of THE MOVIES worth $2,500!
It took a while, but Tanisa finally solves hillbillies ELLY MAY CLAMPETT & JETHRO BODINE for $15,700!
Justin reads off SHOE POLISH OFF THE COOKIES for $1,200.
Round 4 starts immediately as a speed-up. Vowels are free but consonants... $300 ┬.
Justin: N ($300)
Tanisa: S (x3 - $900)
John: R ($300)
Justin: L (x3 - $1,200)
Tanisa: T ($1,200)
John: C ($600)
Justin: G ($1,500)
Tanisa: E (x4)
Tanisa says GLASS-ENCLOSED ELEVATOR right on the buzzer, and it's good for $1,200.

RSTLN E gives two letters...
Does BGH O help?
It does, but all Tanisa can think of is something close to BULSY, like BULSY ROOM. She can't find some BALSA WOOD for the SPACE ADVENTURE. Tanisa still won $16,900.39, and will be back tomorrow!
Pat Chat: They have 10 seconds left, so they plug the Friday Finals. They confirm with the directors offscreen that Tanisa is one of the three finalists, so we'll see her and two more people tomorrow.
