From the Sony Pictures Studios, it's America's Game!
WHEEL OF FORTUNE
SUMMER IN THE CITY
EPISODE #2918
Here are today's contestants!
Jeff Olson is from Denver, CO. He recently moved to Denver a week and a half ago, as part of a job transfer from Texas. He's married to Terry and has two kids (Jeffrey, 2, and Stephanie, 1).
Daniel Solis is from Jackson, MS. He lives there with his wife, Donna. He has four Cocker Spaniels. He's a CAD technician and project manager at an architectural firm in Jackson, and he occasionally loves to hot air balloon. He plays auxiliary percussion in his church.
Evon Biondi is from Los Angeles, CA. She's a waitress. She likes to travel, cook, and long-distance cycle. She used to be an MP in the U.S. Army.
There honestly is AN AURA OF MYSTERY around Evon, about whether she still arrests people or beats people on the head, as Pat would say. Regardless, she still has $900.
Pat claims that's the first time they have used the word "aura" in a puzzle, and I think he's right. I can't find another instance of that word ever used.
Round 2 adds the $10,000 and a SPA trip to The Hilton at Short Hills, in New Jersey! It's a trip worth $4,300!
*Daniel tries to remove the $2,500 off the wheel after he calls the H.
Daniel can afford tickets to THE TONY AWARDS AT RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL with $4,600.
Evon can thank VENUS THE GODDESS OF LOVE for the $2,200.
DING-DING! DING-DING!
Although Pat still can't figure out if it's 5 or 3 seconds a solve, vowels are still worth nothing, but consonants are worth $700 ┐.

Pat Chat: Pat is worried about Vanna's headband, and how it might cut off circulation to her scalp. Pat says bye afterwards.
