From the Sony Pictures Studios, it's America's Game!
WHEEL OF FORTUNE
WEST COAST ADVENTURES
EPISODE #3023
Here are today's contestants!
Cari Byers is from Las Vegas, NV, but is originally from Albuquerque. She's a graduate of Arizona State. She's a showgirl. Pat mentions that last time they had a showgirl, she kicked very high, and Cari demonstrates she can kick high also.
Neil Cokenhauer is from Wexford, PA. He's married with one child on the way. He's a fire protection engineer. He likes golfing, basketball, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Cindy Hamlin is from Washington D.C. She works for the largest banking industry in the United States. She's been married to her husband for 13 years, and her mother-in-law is in the audience. She's also an expert signer, as in sign language. She had friends that were hearing impaired, so she learned from them.
Cari solves OSLO NORWAY for $550. Can we make that $3,550?
Cari can; she finds some VIKINGS.
Round 2 adds the $10,000 and a trip to MALIBU: it's a trip to Malibu Beach Inn worth $3,208!
Neil solves PACKED WITH PEANUTS THIS REALLY SATISFIES, and identifies SNICKERS, to make his round total $9,500 cash and the Malibu trip.
Jackpot! Also, a Triumph Thunderbird MOTORCYCLE worth $8,995!
Neil solves BEA ARTHUR AS MAUDE for $1,450.
DING-DING! DING-DING!
We want to make sure the game ends here. Vowels are worth nothing, but consonants... $450 ┌
Cari: K (DUD!)
Neil: C (DUD!)
Cindy: B (DUD!)
Cari: F ($3,000)
Neil: V (DUD!)
Cindy: Y ($450)
Cindy at least wins more than parting gifts. She solves ROLLING & SAFETY PIN for $450, which is brought up to the house minimum of $500.
A laguna trip/convertible, Santa Barbara/boat, Corondao/boat, and $25,000 remain for Neil
W H E E L
RSTLN E does little to no good...
GPM O isn't going to give much help...
Neil mutters a lot of things under his breath, and guesses PLOOM, but can't take a photo ALBUM of new memories with the LAGUNA & CONVERTIBLE package. He's still won $14,158.
Pat Chat: We haven't seen Vanna's daughter, Giovanna, in a while. She now can walk, and she walks out on stage to Vanna! Pat hands her makeup (why does Pat have makeup?), and Nicholas is doing great with her. She makes noises close to "makeup", and even tries to say "bye-bye!"
