BEST FRIENDS WEEK FROM HAWAII
EPISODE #3046
Here are today's contestants!
Corey Tom & Ryan Cundo: Corey is a sixth grade teacher at Holumu Elementary. He likes to surf, golf, and fish. Ryan Cundo met Corey at parties and surfing together. Ryan's lifelong dream was to be on Wheel!
Cori Carvalho & Jim Close: Cori is a single mother raising a two-year-old daughter named Kanoelani. She's from Mililani. Jim is her boss. Jim owns a small construction company, who specializes in floor tile and resilient flooring. He came to Hawaii from Arizona about 15 years ago. He says his lifelong dream is to win money on Wheel of Fortune.
Michelle Gouda & Ellen Alcalde: They met when they both crashed into each other rollerblading. Michelle is originally from San Diego, but now she's a wedding coordinator based out in Waikiki. Ellen is from Waipahu. She comes from a large family, enjoys life, rollerblading, and anything on wheels. She works as a customer service supervisor at a local hardware store, and is glad to be here. Her lifelong dream is just to meet Pat.
Cori & Jim, both of you know YOU'VE GOT A FRIEND in each other.
Round 2 adds the $10,000 and some BIKES: It's the KHS Tandomania Sport along with a gift certificate from Hilo Hattie. This is worth $3,100!
Cori & Jim know ROBIN HOOD FRIAR TUCK & LITTLE JOHN for $2,050. Can they make it $5,050 with a solve of this Puzzler?
Right now, Cori & Jim are being a great LEGEND!
Along with Pat mentioning people are going to see someone try to shove a pizza into a toaster, a Jackpot is available, along with a trip to HAWAII, including a trip to the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center with gift cartificate, in addition to tickets to the Magic of Polynesia. It's a prize worth $5,000!
Round 4 starts as a Speed-Up. Vowels are worth nothing, but consonants... $5,000 ┐!
Corey & Ryan: T ($5,000)
Cori & Jim: N (DUD!)
Michelle & Ellen: S (DUD!)
Corey & Ryan: H (DUD!)
Cori & Jim: R (DUD!)
Michelle & Ellen: L ($5,000)
Corey & Ryan: C (DUD!)
Cori & Jim: K (x2 - $1,000)
TAKE A GOOD LOOK, since Cori & Jim have swept the maingame!
Cori & Jim have impressed me, not only because of the sweep, but because they had the puzzle with the T and L. Hopefully that greatness can extend to the bonus round.
W H E E L
RSTLN E gives two leters...
DMH O does quite a dent into the puzzle:
Cori & Jim say I'M IN SHORE and I'M IN SHURE, and I'M IN SHOCK... that they kind got the puzzle, but they paused for a couple seconds between the IN and SHOCK, so we're going to have to check the tape.
Pat Chat: The ruling is... they win! They've got a BOAT! It's a Sea Ray 18-foot bowrider. It's worth $16,905! Cori's niece, Maggie, and brother-in-law, Kevin, come down to hug both of them. They've won $34,905 in total!
