From the Sony Pictures Studio, it's America's Game!
WHEEL OF FORTUNE
APRIL IN PARIS
EPISODE #3072
Here are today's contestants!
David Martin is from Orange, CA. He owns an ad agency for automobile dealers. He's working on restoring a Studebaker Avantis. He enjoys old movies, music, and practically anything old. He's single.
Michelle Maiter is from Hoffman Estates, IL. She's branch manager for a financial institution in the Midwest. She likes to skydive, bungee jump, or really anything that is exciting and gives a bit of a challenge. She has a boyfriend, Ray, of three years.
Diana Shaw is from Memphis, TN. She has four children (3-13), and she's married to David. She is a lunch waitress at a local cafe. She enjoys people, life, and is just glad to be here.
Michelle can trek across THE SAHARA DESERT. However, with only $350, that might be hard. She'll get at least $500, but if she solves this Puzzler, she'll have $3,350.
She unfortunately stays silent, so the CAMELS can't carry her to victory.
Round 2 adds a JEWELRY wedge to the wheel; it's a $2,500 Greenleaf & Crosby gift certificate!
Michelle is on a roll now, unlike GEORGE CLOONEY CHECKS OUT OF ER CAST for $1,850 and the Jewelry.
Along with the Jackpot, round 3 adds a YACHTING trip. It's a week on a private yacht thanks to the San Diego Yacht & Breakfast Company, and it's worth $3,100!
It might be a HOUSEBROKEN PET PEEVE, Michelle solves the puzzle with $450. We'll bump that up to $500 again.
Round 4 starts immediately as a Final Spin. Vowels are worth nothing, but consonants are worth... $300 ┬.
David: T (DUD!)
Michelle: S ($300)
Diana: D ($300)
David: R (x2 - $600)
I'm not sure how USER-FRIENDLY Wheel is, but David finally has $600.
W H E E L
Michelle picks W for Wheel.
RSTLN E gives only one measly R...
CDM A is useless. She tries PROOM, GRAVE, PROOF, PROM, and GRAND, but she can't ride a BROOK during APRIL IN PARIS. She still has won $5,950 in cash and prizes!
Pat Chat: Vanna has been to Paris, and was at the Eiffel Tower once. She found the French not that mean. Vanna doesn't speak any French. Pat was once at the southern point of France, and fell in love with the place so much, he took a two-week immersion course, and worked eight hours a day, studying French, but he only knows "Croissant". He had it, but then lost it.
