So it's been about three years since the forum last had a major art makeover, and with the 40th anniversary season coming up, it's time for a fresh new look!
And this time, we'd like YOU to make the design. Yes, YOU!
We will be holding a contest for any experienced or budding artist to create a new banner for the forum. We are looking for certain elements to this banner:
- It must contain the title "Buy a Vowel Boards" (obviously)
- It must contain Wheel of Fortune-related elements.
- It must fit the pixel specifications of the site (maximum of 225px tall, and should probably be about 2000px wide in order to be high resolution friendly, though most of the content should be in the central 1200px).
- It must look good. Please don't send crap, we don't want it.
Post your submissions in a link in this thread by no later than 11:59 p.m. EDT on August 15, 2022. The winner will be selected by Prizes and therealcu2010 and will have their work displayed as our new banner...and will likely get the chance to help design other elements of the forum. Feel free to PM me or reply to this thread with any questions.
Time to show off those art skills! We can't wait to see what you come up with! 🙂
