Look at this studio filled with fabulous bonus prizes including:
A Hydra-Sports fishing boat!
A 34-karat topaz and diamond ring!
A pair of his-and-hers automobiles!
Plus thousands of dollars in cash!
Over $225,000 just waiting to be won on...
Wheel of Fortune!
Today's contestants (all students!):
Tammie Thomas: Junior at Harvard majoring in history and science, and specializes in medieval and renaissance astronomy; from Brook Park, OH
Janice Gable: Majoring in broadcast journalism at Chapman College...and wants Pat's job.
Randy Warren: In an international flight school in Missouri studying to be a helicopter flight instructor, from Sapulpa, OK
The top-dollar value on the Wheel is $1,000. We are playing for cash, and here's our first puzzle:
Janice solves LAND OF LINCOLN.
Randy solves DARRYL STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM. Pat wipes Randy's face with a cloth, as it seems he had no idea.
That puzzle would've been a good excuse for our strawberry $3,500 space. Remember, try not to get any ice cream on it!
Perfection! Randy solves MOTHER TOLD ME THERE'D BE DAYS LIKE THIS.
Randy solves EXPERT WITNESS to keep the pendant.
DING DING! DING DING!
Time for us to witness Pat as he gives the Wheel a Final Spin. Consonants are worth... $300 a piece.
Randy: D ($650)
Tammie: C ($300)
Tammie solves PLUMB TUCKERED OUT.
BONUS ROUND:
RSTLNE gives him:
CDMA brings him to the halfway point.

Wouldn't Janice like to be an announcer instead? She'll have to wait, because Charlie must show us an oriental art collection with screen, trunk, pagoda plant stand, and porcelain vase (labeled ORIENT) totaling $5,230.
One way to test her is to see what happens if someone else hits the $2,500 space...but she can hit it too.

(For some reason, the Bonus Round timer starts playing again after the final score appears.)
In the post-game chat, Pat looks at Vanna's finger because of the ring she was wearing. It was taped on so it would fit her finger, and when cutting the tape off, Vanna got a boo-boo on her finger (at least it wasn't a paper cut). To care for her finger, Pat has some iodine, and Vanna wonders if it will burn. She asks if Pat will blow on it, and he blows on the iodine when she meant her finger. They blow on it together, and... "If you're just tuning in, let me explain what's happening." We'll see you on Medical Center tomorrow!
