Look at this studio filled with fabulous bonus prizes including:
A Volvo 780 coupe!
A Van Cleef & Arpels $48,000 pin!
A San Juan patio pool!
Plus thousands of dollars in cash!
Over $208,000 just waiting to be won on...
Wheel of Fortune!
Today's contestants:
Liz Calico: National sales coordinator for "the talk station", from Philadelphia, PA
Victor Millions: Production technologist for a major oil company (Pat insists it's "the" oil company), from Whitecourt, AB
Leo Altz: Retired painting contractor, now loves Vegas and Wheel; from Palatine, IL
The top-dollar value on the Wheel is $1,000. We are playing for cash, and here's our first puzzle:
Leo solves STATIC ELECTRICITY.
We remind you that touching the $2,500 space directly could give you a serious shock.
Perfection! Victor solves CHARLIE AND AMERICAN PRIDE.
Good riddance to the "gooseegg bench". In our next round, we'll say hello to an Emser International 30-40 year old collectible Persian wool rug (labeled RUG) worth $7,500.
Victor solves THE SAN ANDREAS FAULT.
DING DING! DING DING!
That's our fault. We're out of time, so Pat will give the Wheel a Final Spin. Consonants are worth... $1,500 a piece.
Victor: F (DUD!)
Leo: D (DUD!)
Liz: P ($1,800)
Liz says VEAL PARMIGIAN, but catches herself and solves VEAL PARMIGIANA.
BONUS ROUND:
RSTLNE gives him:
PCDA includes two good picks.

In the post-game chat, Pat and Vanna talk about the little dolls made out of paper. You could cut out little clothes. Vanna's dress looks like three different outfits in one, but it's actually all one piece. Vanna wonders how Pat knows about paper dolls, and when he was a kid, he knew little girls with paper dolls. Pat used to get paper cuts all the time because of them. As an adult, Vanna has some dolls, though she doesn't sleep with them.
