A new Wheel Watchers Club Email reveals that a special "XL Wedge" will be used exclusively for season premiere week and what is presumably its sixth episode on October 24.
The Wedge will be similar to the Million Dollar Wedge and Home Wedge. It does not have any value in the main game. If a contestant picks it up and takes it to the Bonus Round, they will win a $40,000 bonus if they solve the puzzle (implicitly, on top of whatever is in the Bonus Round envelope, essentially making the Bonus Round prizes $80K-$140K), and $40,000 will go to a SPIN ID holder.
