Absolutely hate the puzzleboard just instantly revealing on a BR loss. The slow left-to-right is best for that.

Also not used to letters just revealing randomly (or is it right to left now) on RSTLNE

I liked this even better than the premiere...up until the $100,000 loss, but those things happen. I got the puzzle with RSTLNE, as I'm getting used to the word TAFFY in Bonus Land.

I believe letters are revealed right-to-left now in bonus puzzles. Maybe things will change, but I doubt it, as it's not such a big deal like a prize adjustment.

Not that anyone cares, but I got the third Triple Toss-Up before the blanks went up.

Could’ve been a whole lot worse with the XL wedge taken. And if memory serves me correctly, this is the second earliest $100K loss in the show’s history (first being Season 25 Premiere; September 10, 2007).

I didn't realize hitting the XL wedge would give the contestant the top dollar value for each letter called. I thought it was going to have no dollar value or be just $500 a letter. Very nice to see them do that though, and we got a couple hits tonight!

Ooh, a decade Show Biz category. A nice twist.

Amber and Jen had an exciting back and forth going with Jen pulling out the win.

Ugh, I thought she had enough help on the 2nd word with the A. An XL disappointment indeed. Hopefully we'll have a 100k win soon enough.

Pat never walked over to the contestants after the speed up. He’s used to staying in his spot the entire show, he must have forgot.

This episode was… um, interesting.

Pat’s banter with Jen’s name(s) and Amber’s fun personality made it enjoyable, the match between the women made it intense, and the Mystery Round full of duds made it a little bumpy. Too bad we had a $100K loss in the BR so early this season; TAFFY isn’t an easy word to solve. 😔

But what really got my attention was the XL wedge in action (at least in the front game). I was hoping we’d see it in real time in the BR.

By the way, I solved the BR with RSTLNE.

My rating: 5

Good news is that we got to see the XL wedge in action (though I rather prefer it being $1K a letter…maybe $1,500). Also, 90s Show Biz.

Bad news is that it’s only the second episode and somebody misses out on the $100K. I really thought this would be a slam dunk for Jen (I had it off RSTLNE)…

Also, starting this season, the Bonus puzzle letters reveal right-to-left. Just an FYI.
