If only she chose A as her vowel - Lauren only gets the top word of JUNGLE HIDEAWAY, so no FORD.

First of all, the bonus puzzle was revealed one letter at a time (at a quick pace). Secondly, the final score graphic was shown.

Pat has this mental block saying that he can't pronounce "Antigua" as it ends with a G-U-A. Therefore, they have to phonetically spell out the island for him.

Antonio didn't exactly start things off on the right foot tonight with his guess on the 2nd Toss-Up.

Stephanie strangely declines flipping the Mystery wedge and then hits $3,500 in round 2 but then couldn't choose the right letter. They all danced around buying the A too going instead for the less common vowels. Sweaty Palm Trees was pretty funny.

Well we've officially started on the random bonus puzzles. I got it and it was pretty impressive she figured out Jungle, but probably needed at least the As to get it.

Second half of the tape day, and see that it was fairly empty. It could've been people not meeting requirements or the timing not working out, but it felt a little odd.

Not too much to add about this show; the Beyonce story was cool. We had another case of potentially getting the mystery 10K, but losing it because they didn't know the puzzle. I don't blame the strategy, sometimes those vowels help, but it didn't work out this time and 'twas a bummer.

Definitely thought it was A TRIP TO THE BAHAMAS, though it is always cool to see Pat's Antigua pronunciation guide as a closing.

I recall the bonus round contestant originally mentioning a friend who wasn't in the area with her dad. That was weird, and they made her resay that after the round had ended. I was surprised we went 3/3 and figured we couldn't go all 6/6. This felt particularly like a "let's pair two regular words together" and the result was expected.

One other thing that happened after this show was that they tried to film a promo for San Diego (and only San Diego) and they moved the car to get a better shot of Pat and Vanna at the board. Unfortunately, as they started to film the promo, the car alarm started going off. It was a good laugh and a fun little moment.

Onto the next show.

Never realized how much this applied to more than a simple want.

This episode could’ve been better.

Antonio’s story about Beyoncé was cool, and a Def Leppard tour would be fun to watch. I appreciated Stephanie’s positive outlook on the whole game, including losing the $1M wedge as quickly as she picked it up. As for Lauren, I’m surprised she got the first word but not the second. So much for a perfecto alert…

I’ve never heard of Redwood National Park (come to find out, it’s near Eureka), and I thought the last word of R1 was ROLL. But I solved the BR with RSTLNE.

I knew Pat’s Antigua pronunciation conundrum was coming!
