CANDY CORN was yet another obvious Triple Toss-Up. SODA WATER was not obvious to me at all.

I never call them lightning bugs. I got LIGHTNING, but not the second word.

I got the bonus puzzle with RSTLNE. I knew the F would be enough!

Anyone else catch the really bad reshoot edit when they had Lauren pick up the gift tag, that somehow moved to the $500 next to the $900 where the wheel was at the end of the round — and they didn't even bother moving it so her pointer was on said $500 space?

Honestly, this episode was probably the smoothest I've recapped in quite a while, which was quite refreshing considering that a good majority of episodes I've covered this past week contained really unpleasant moments. Lauren was a good player too, and I'm glad she managed to get the top position after a tight race with Edmar.

And yes, williamporygon , I did catch the gift tag error.

BR: I thought the bottom word was PEACHES (wink wink), but I switched gears and said the right answer once the C was a dud. Wasn't sure Lauren was gonna get it, but she proved me wrong.

8/10 (7 just wasn't enough, I really enjoyed watching this)

It was the match between Edmar and Lauren. Good thing Rosemary scored some dough in the Triple Toss-Up.

The Wild Card matches Lauren’s dress. I thought she’d struggle with the BR with only an F up there, but man, was I wrong. It’s nice to see a $40K win, especially since it softens the blow of what happened the previous episode.

I saw TU2 on Twitter, and off-topic, Abbott is a hoot – the principal is pretty ruthless. But I dunno how I got the second half of R2 with the N and R4 with just the S. And I RSTLNE’d the BR.

My rating: 7
