I really do think Pat was hoping to have fun with a three-way tie after the Triple Toss-Ups. I would've wanted to see that.

I got the bonus puzzle with RSTLNE. I knew her vowel choice would be quite helpful, though the M was also important. $54,000 in cash is pretty good!

A very exciting finish tonight with two contestants tied for the lead heading into the TTU and Joshua a TTU sweep away from making it a three-way tie. He got 2 of the 3, so it very nearly happened.

It took a surprisingly long time for the Prize Puzzle to be solved.

I was thinking Baseball GLOVE for TTU1 also.

Pretty easy bonus puzzle thanks to the Is.

The trip puzzle was unusually difficult. I also struggled with it until the very end.

I think I got the bonus just as soon as the additional letters were being put up. Val was a good player, so I think I knew she would solve it.

Things got messy midway through the game, but it all worked out for Val. She was a great player (as indicated by her vowel-buying), and good thing she didn’t let QU- trip her up in the BR.

(Believe it or not, I made the BR harder than it should’ve been by saying MAKE IT JAZZY with RSTLNE. 😜 I got it with Val’s picks.)

Dagnabbit, I was also hoping for a three-way tie. And I was hoping R1 would be FILM instead of FOOD given I recently attended some film festivals.
