...so the puzzle beats him to hold back the $40,000. Steve is going home with $22,302 in cash and trip.

In the final segment, Pat knows that Vanna has a lot of trick-or-treaters in her neighborhood. She gives them her favorite chocolate candies. Pat is concerned about safety, so he always drains the moat and lowers the voltage on the fence to be nice. Last year, they complained about the vichyssoise that Pat handed out, but this year, he'll do better.

Boy, Keke really fooled me with that Y call on Express. She was very sure the word would be LOYAL. Then again, the letter call actually makes me think about how some cuisine may have been losing its authenticity over the years.

Nice job with the Triple Toss-Up by Steve. I "no-puzzled" the second one, though I originally thought the third one would be REGISTERED VOTERS (or even just VOTERS).

Another puzzle that I got with RSTLNE even though I don't like the writing. Let's just make "In The Dictionary" a category already!

Keke does not have a last name during contestants' introductions. Keke went on the express in the prize puzzle but she got bankrupt because of the letter mistake (She thinks the 3rd word was Loyal but it's *Local*). When it's Steve's turn to solve after Keke was bankrupted, he won nothing in the PP because he bankrupted twice in the round.
For now, $40,000 has been lost 3 times in a row.

Two big letter snafus with Steve calling the repeat O in round 1 and then Keke with the Y thinking the last unfilled word was LOYAL in round 3.

At least Steve did make it up later winning the Prize Puzzle and then the TTU sweep!

Tough bonus puzzle without more help, I didn't figure out MIGHTY until just before the buzzer. Forget random adjective and noun combos, I guess we're doing adjective and adjective now.

Even though Steve made a fumble early on, he proved to be a pretty good player taking advantage of Keke’s baffling blunders and sweeping the Triple T-Us.

BR: Oh joy, another player wasting picks on the obvious. I had it off RSTLNE, but not immediately.

Even though the Prize Puzzle was a bit scary, Steve did a good job, especially in the Triple Toss-Ups. Perhaps picking PGHO in the BR (instead of filling in the obvious) would’ve done the trick. And I was initially baffled by Keke’s late R3 dud, but now I understand it.

Speaking of Toss-Ups, I honestly thought the first one would be TRANSYLVANIA (given the holiday). I blanked out on the first Triple Toss-Up and solved the BR with RSTLNE.

My rating: 6
