Roxann Smith: Charlotte, NC (orig. for St. Thomas). Army vet who’s a legal specialist and has 2 kids (they're in the studio). She has a twin sister who served prior to her (she was the reason why she joined) and a brother named Rex (who urged her to get on this show).

I got the bonus puzzle with RSTLNE, and I think it was doable with the A. Too bad he didn't pick that.

I've never seen these words shown in the bonus round before. No bankrupts for this episode tonight. Derek did a great job in the main game with a great total for tonight. Also, after the prize puzzle round, Jim did an impression of Derek reading the solution.

Hopefully, one more day we will have a no-luck bonus round week.

Aside from Derek's domination, this episode was just okay. Roxann definitely bit herself with those bad vowel calls, though.

BR: Also RSTLNEd. This would've been a great time to call the A.

This episode was OK. Derek definitely capitalized on Roxann’s misfortunes with vowels. Too bad Bill barely had a chance to play.

I got the last two Triple Toss-Ups with one or two letters and the BR with RSTLNE. This is another case where the right vowel is crucial, and I thought Derek would choose it.

My rating: 6
