That R1 was definitely a replacement, probably a wordplay category or something considering we already had a college-themed “Phrase” on tap for R2.

Solid bonus puzzle compared to some of the dreck of the last few weeks, tough letters, but I think calling a D gets this one.

I’m racking my brain and I can’t remember the last time we had a college student play for the million, may very well have been S26.

Well, at least it's an improvement over the last couple games, but it's still nothing top tier.

carpediemed , was there a puzzle this episode that got thrown out? Usually, there would be one wordplay category per episode.

BR: It's been ages since a college student actually played for the million. It didn't come to me immediately, but I got it off RSTLNE. Sophie should have focused on filling the top word assuming if she already knew the bottom.

The front game was nicer this time around! Everyone earned decent totals, and Sophie’s last spin in R1 paid off handsomely.

I initially guessed MICROWAVE HAM for R2. Oops. And mac and cheese is one of my favorite foods. 😬

I no-lettered R3 and solved the BR with the champ’s picks (though I wasn’t sure. I agree that focusing on the top word was the key to win this one.
