Another somewhat odd maingame, but we got through it...mostly, except for the gooseegg victim.

I got the bonus puzzle with RSTLNE. I'm convinced that she knew better than to talk too long, because she clearly knew it.

Anthony had that R repeat on the MDW early and then just made some questionable letter calls all night.

Loved Maggie's earrings. Her bonus round puzzle was definitely appropriate for what she does, and it was a very easy one.

I'm friends with Maggie's husband, Nick. He called me the day before they flew out to pick my brain about strategy and what to expect. I'd like to take credit for Maggie's success, but it was all her. She's a really good player.

Happy for her and excited they get to go to St. Lucia, which is where my wife and I honeymooned.

Maggie really deserved to win tonight. Loved her earrings and she knew how to play the game unlike her opponents.

Alexandra, on the other hand, deserved the donut hole. She has two chances to score big and blew both of 'em.

Very interesting to see another Anthony Anderson on stage (not the comedian/actor, of course). But I felt bad for Alexandra. If I were her, I would’ve bought vowels more often (especially in the PP); that probably would’ve changed the game’s trajectory.

Speaking of the PP, anytime you see a 14-letter word on the bottom, it’s most likely ACCOMMODATIONS.
