I'm excited to share the work I'm doing over the next couple weeks as I build my own custom Wheel. First I want to thank all of the great designers on the forum, MarioGS a big one with the wedges, Paranoimax for the flippers and inspiration, and anyone I missed for credit, let me know along the way. Starting the base of the wheel today and carving the first set of wedges using a CNC machine! Pics coming soon!

*Bankrupt slide whistle* Oooh, the dreaded Bankrupt! Let's just hope we don't wind up landing on it.
Seriously, I really love the nice work you're doing on the wooden wheel and wedge carvings so far; I cannot wait to see what the end result would look like.

Thanks! Here's another update, still in the rough stages of the wheel base, stained, added some slots for bonus envelopes, etc. Need to clean up some edges.

Ahh, so I see that the wooden wheel build can be used for BOTH the main game and the bonus round (aka Bonusland), where we can turn the maingame wheel into the BR wheel and vice versa; I just LOVE the way you came up with that idea there!

I'm really loving this concept of an all-wood Wheel, with no printing involved. That will really help it last for several years. I really like how you're making slots that fit the wedges individually so they can be arranged in any order, and putting the bonus envelope slots under where the regular wedges would go is genius!

Thanks to the both of you, yeah this was a move that I added after I messed up the first base. I wanted it to do exactly that, be convertible and really customizable, along with lasting a long time. Appreciate the kind words!

Another update! So all of the main build is done (mostly) now just need to paint wedges. The only thing I have a problem with that I may go back and fix is the lazy Susan (always the most difficult part to get right for me). The wheel has sections that spin unevenly. The circles are not the issue, they were cut on a CNC and are perfect circles, it's getting the center exactly right. Here's a video of a spin! youtu.be/xxQrZCqV1WA

A top down picture! And a picture example of the bonus round envelope (two wooden pieces together... Was going to find hinges or something but honestly friction keeps them in the wheel and together!
