From the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, it's America's game! This is Sweethearts Week!
Who will hit it off with this first Toss-Up?
Go!
Chris & Melissa solve BE MY VALENTINE.
Our next valentines:
Chris & Melissa: Married for 5 years, and met at Georgetown College in Kentucky. Chris is a mortgage broker...who sounds like Barry White, and Melissa is an attorney at a large law firm. They are from Nashville.
Ann & Jack: Married for 40 years! They met on a blind date, though not love at first sight, as it took 3 years. Ann is a semi-retired CPA, while Jack is a pharmacist (whose secret to marriage is to do as he's told), and they have two sons and three grandchildren. They are from Paris.
Stephanie & Chris: Married for 4 months, and met at a concert. Chris works in the music business, and Stephanie's best friend was dating the guy in the band that Chris was with. Those two split up, and these contestants are together. Stephanie is a credit assistant for a large barge company, and Chris is now a business manager. They are from Franklin.
Go!
Stephanie & Chris solve STAMP COLLECTOR.
We've stamped a $10,000 prize on one of the more dangerous spaces. Too bad we couldn't cover the whole space.
Ann & Jack solve BLONDIE & DAGWOOD.
Ann & Jack solve WORLD NEWS TONIGHT WITH PETER JENNINGS.
In other news, we are expecting a disturbance in the Mystery Round. Under one of those spaces, some expect to find a BANKRUPT, though others expect to see a Ford Ranger pickup worth $13,825.
Go!
Chris & Melissa solve HIGH-SPEED MODEM.
Do we have to enable high speed in this round? Well, not yet, so they could actually get a shot at the $5,000 space.
DING DING! DING DING!
Or, maybe it was just a brief timeout. Now we need Pat to give the Wheel a Final Spin, and consonants are worth $800 + $1,000 for $1,800 a piece.
Chris & Melissa: R (DUD!)
Ann & Jack: S (x2) ($3,600)
Stephanie & Chris: D ($1,800)
Chris & Melissa: T ($3,150)
Ann & Jack: A (x3) ($3,600)
Stephanie & Chris: M (DUD!)
Chris & Melissa: H (DUD!)
Ann & Jack: P ($5,400)
Ann guesses BEGONIAS AND PETUNIAS ...and she's right!
BONUS ROUND:
The couple has four friends in the audience!
RSTLNE gives them:

Baby, baby, you're gonna love this Toss-Up.

We avoid the "heartbreak" early on. Then again, someone on the staff might be heartbroken if we can't give away a trip to Barbados and stay at Almond Resorts sponsored by Hershey's Kisses with Almonds (labeled HERSHEY'S) and worth $5,350.
How about a lovely kiss? After that, we must remind our teams to keep their lips off the Jackpot space. A win would be as lovely as usual, though.

Before Ann pulls off a "miracle solve" here, they need to spin the Bonus Wheel. Jack lands on the N in BONUS, and we're ready to try this puzzle:

Ann gets all the letters, and after picking R third and S fourth, it will be ACDM.
And immediately after that last call, she's right to suspect Vanna is staying put.
(The music bed runs out before the timer cue.)
They say CRAZY LOVE and SMART LOVE, and they do not solve PUPPY LOVE. "Why didn't you say P, woman?"
That call might have given them an additional $25,000. Ann & Jack are heading out with $17,200 in cash.
In the post-game chat, Vanna talks about how Nashville is home to both country music and southern hospitality. She got a tour of the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, and we get a look at it in a clip.
