From the Las Vegas Hilton, it's America's Game! Time for some more big groups as we start Best Friends Week!
We don't have such a big group of letters on the board yet, only a quick Toss-Up.
Go!
Lynn & Laura solve AN EAGER BEAVER. "That's actually a new category: It sort of rhymes. That's what it is."
Our first six (all female):
Lynn & Laura: Known since they were 14 years old, so 35 years of friendship! Lynn is from Morgan Hill, CA, a high school teacher as well as a coach (her two children are also really good swimmers) with a silver Olympic medal from '68 and a bronze from '72. Laura is engaged and from Las Vegas.
Elizabeth & Amber: Both are cocktail servers from Las Vegas, allowing them to become friends on the first day. Elizabeth has been married for 6 years, while Amber is originally from California.
Tiffany & Josephine: Known for 26 years having met in Oxnard, CA. Tiffany will be 3 years married in April and has a 2-year old girl. Josephine is a flight attendant. Both are from Henderson, and both are equally good Wheel players.
Go!
Tiffany & Josephine solve JUST IN TIME. Tiffany's name tag falls off after that.
Elizabeth says SIEGFRIED ROY ROGERS ...without the ampersand.
And this allows Tiffany & Josephine to say SIEGFRIED & ROY ROGERS properly. That was an easy mistake earlier, and Pat acknowledges that he once made a mistake on the show.
Elizabeth & Amber solve A LENGTHY CHAT ON THE PHONE.
Elizabeth & Amber solve PHOEBE MONICA AND RACHEL.
Go!
Tiffany & Josephine solve A SUPPER CLUB.
The $5,000 space will be there for you! Will you be there for it, too?
DING DING! DING DING!
Are there some evil letters behind those remaining blanks? We can't take chances, so Pat will give the Wheel a Final Spin. Consonants are worth $700 + $1,000 for $1,700 a piece.
Tiffany & Josephine: M ($4,100)
Lynn & Laura solve THE MAN OF THE HOUR.
BONUS ROUND:
RSTLNE gives them:
