Holly Corley: From Phoenix, AZ; newlywed to her best friend in the world Chad who is a Marine Corp veteran; she has been golfing since she was 7 years old, and she lived on a golf course just outside of the L.A. area, and her dad would take her and her sister down to the fairway where they'd hit balls down back and forth all evening; she's gotten better every year, but if you know golf, it's just impossible to master; she's also a Sun Devils fan and loves going to all the games
Barbara Rainier: From Hemet, CA, but grew up in Culver City and went to school; it was MGM Studios then with a big movie lot, and she saw a lot of stars when she was a teen, and with friends, they stood at the front gates of the studio and watched them go in and out (some of them would stop and talk), one of the celebrities being Judy Garland; Barbara's married to the funniest man she knows, and her husband makes her laugh every day

In the final segment, Vanna asks if Pat does anything on a daily basis. He flosses, and there's personal grooming and stuff, but it's not really interesting stuff. Something that Vanna does every day is start her day with coffee, and Pat doesn't. One of the few differences they have...besides Pat being slightly taller.

This main game was a mixed bag. A good first round, but some misses by Barbara (she tricked me with that Round 3 mishap), and an almost $10K Speed-Up without the top-dollar spin.

I got the bonus puzzle with RSTLNE. Both the D and B were needed for that one, and Cory picked them for the win! Maybe he didn't need the A, but he got that, too.

Barbara just couldn't catch a break tonight. I was wondering why Cory sounded so unsure solving in round 3, but it looks like it was because he didn't realize Barbara's mistake.

Pretty easy bonus puzzle, especially with the As and the B and D up.

I concur with mechamind that this game was just all over the place. Barbara was incredibly shaky regarding her missolves in R2 & R3. It’s also a reminder that this game is easier at home regarding Cory’s antics towards the end of the PP round (with your reaction time being a bit slower and less alert than usual).

BR: Easy enough from the RSTLNE and I knew Cory had it when he called D and B.

This episode had its ups and downs, but it ended nicely. I’m glad Barbara solved two Triple Toss-Ups to make up for her earlier mistakes. As for Cory… perhaps the F was a precaution in the Bonus Round, but that was an easy solve.

By the way, I no-lettered the second line of the first Toss-Up and the entirety of the last Triple Toss-Up. But I thought I aced Round 4 with ON THE CUTTING EDGE.

My rating: 6
