In the final segment, Pat's thinking about the gym puzzle. Vanna has been pretty lazy lately, but she's getting back into it. They have a brand new piece of equipment that's so great...you can hang so many more clothes on it than the old one!

Just when we thought we could get consecutive perfect rounds...someone got stumped by WAVES in a Trip Puzzle. Wow.

A good solve by Kelly in the Speed-Up. I wonder if she's seen that word in a past episode?

Like Buddy, I got stuck on the last word in the Bonus Round. CDMO was the better combination. I haven't joined a gym either, though I've still found other ways to stay active.

This episode wasn’t any better save for Kelly’s impressive S-U solve (though I got it at the same time she did).

R3: I had a feeling that last word would trip up Krystal.

BR: Partial puzzle reuse leads me to RSTLNEing this. Nothing in the bottom row leads to Buddy losing $50K.

On another note, it’s nice to see back-to-back LGBT contestants be the big winner.

This episode had an OK match between Kelly and Buddy.

It would’ve been the battle between Buddy and Krystal were it not for WAVES. Kelly also impressed me with her fast Round 5 solve. And perhaps Buddy needed help on the bottom row of the Bonus Round.

I solved the last two main round puzzles with just the T’s, but I’ve never heard of a wall UNIT until now.

My rating: 5
