Pat has a lot of autographed copies, and Bob Burton, who has been his publicist for 40 years, had this marvelous tradition he started almost 40 years ago where at Christmas time, he gives Pat a book that’s autographed by someone Pat admires. He’s got autographs from all the movie stars like Jack Lemmon, Kirk Douglas, Jimmy Stewart, Lucille Ball; he has dozens of them, but Bob’s running out because most of the people Pat admired are now in that great movie studio in the sky, so they’re running a little low, but it’s a wonderful collection.

I didn't even bother to watch this episode once the show's TikTok account outright spoiled the entire game for me. At least this is obviously a step up from last night, though. It's still a bit too much on the penalty spaces.

BR: Once again, a THING chooser leads to another loss. Haven't they listened to Lee and how he absolutely despises that category?

I enjoyed watching all three contestants, particularly Octavia and Brian.

It looked like Octavia needed one big round (the first one) to win, but then Deonna tightened up the race. And I’m thrilled Brian solved a couple of Triple Toss-Ups after the wheel’s tirade towards him. His reaction after flubbing the first Toss-Up was hilarious.

I solved the Bonus Round with the champ’s letters, and I dunno what combo would’ve worked for this tricky puzzle.

My rating: 5
