From Hollywood, It's America's game! Wheeeeeel Of Fortune!
Today's contestants:
Bonnie Goldner: Employee/owner of a major airline, and she's also engaged; from Eau Claire, MI
Danny Raygor (returning with a 1-day total of $29,550)
Dick Rich: Insurance agent, also a fan of sports, word games, and magic; from Paducah, KY
The top-dollar value on the Wheel is $1,000. We are playing for cash, and since Dick's a fan of word games...
Dick solves MICHAEL JACKSON WEDS LISA MARIE PRESLEY to keep the trip.
Bonnie solves SECRET FAMILY RECIPE. Pat noticed that Bonnie scratched a fingernail on one of her spins. "Call 9-1-1!"
We're sure a $5,000 spin will make Bonnie forget her troubles...or we could rub it in by making her pick up a wedge marked JUKE BOX.
DING DING! DING DING!
Why must we do this to Danny? With time running out, Pat will give the Wheel a Final Spin. Consonants are worth... $250 a piece.
Danny: R ($2,400+)
Danny solves THE NUMBERS JUST DON'T ADD UP. After we add in the Wurlitzer 1015 CD jukebox with Columbia House music worth $8,794 ...he has won the game!
BONUS ROUND:
RSTLNE gives him:

Bonnie solves ELASTICIZED. Now for our next trick! Bonnie will score $500 more by using the word in a sentence!
She goes with "The bungee cord that she jumped off the cliff from was very elasticized." For some reason, the buzzer sounds at the second-to-last word, but her sentence is good for the money.
Pat reads the definition of it. "Elasticize - to make elastic is what it says. And he- We elasticized, he elasticized, and we be elasticizing."

How much "elasticizing" do you think you're gonna do on a Big Apple holiday? It's at the heart of Manhattan's Theatre District with a stay at the Renaissance Hotel, includes seats to Damn Yankees at the Marquis plus dinner for two (labeled NEW YORK), and is worth $5,400!
We're extra careful bringing in the $2,500 space, as it doesn't stretch well at all.

Thanks to that quick solve, this game hasn't stretched out too long. Dick has lots of time to add to his total with a $3,500 spin or two, or however many spins he needs.

Danny didn't even need the cash, as the jukebox was enough. If he did want cash...we regret to inform him that it's gone, but there's still a cruise, a bracelet, and the cars.
But since we love how Charlie says "Istanbul", we'll make him say it one more time.
Maybe we'll hear how he reads copy for one of the remaining prizes after Danny picks the L and solves this puzzle:

He thinks CDKA will be good letters...
...but they're not getting him anywhere.
His guesses are FILM and PALM. He does not solve WOLF...
...and he was nowhere close to winning a bracelet. Danny still has a 2-day total of $40,744 in prizes, and he'll have one more appearance next week.
Pat remembers when Wheel was a daytime show on NBC, and one of the network executives came up with the idea that for Halloween Week, all the hosts have to wear costumes. The execs come up with all the crazy ideas, and the hosts are the ones who have to look goofy. Pat once came out dressed in a suit, saying he's dressed up as an accountant. Next, he's dressed as a lawyer. Pat's such an imp, isn't he? He also remembers seeing someone yesterday and saying "Fill 'er up, please".
