The front game could’ve been better, and Whitney’s R2 misfire was a head-scratcher. I’m glad she solved a Triple Toss-Up and Bradley picked the key consonant in the BR (and then some) for the car!

Speaking of R2, I no-lettered it.

This Wednesday maingame could've been much better, especially considering Whitney's misfires in the middle part of the game.

R2: Not only did I find INTERNATIONAL GATE LINE to be rather baffling, it seems like geography is a strong suit for nobody on this panel. I no-lettered it BTW.

R4: Didn't no-letter this one, however. Wasn't that big into it.

BR: Good letter calls lead to an easy car win.

And if you're wondering about the absence of the Placeholder Puzzle, I tried to get this recap done before 5pm my time (as that was when wave 4 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC dropped...I ended up playing way too much of that regarding how much the game has changed now).

Bradley here. First, thanks for the recap! I was very happy to find this community before I taped the show (granted, my application to taping was a bit of a whirlwind, so I wasn’t able to utilize it to its fullest extent). Second, I knew the second puzzle, but I didn’t even think I was going to get a turn because Whitney had gotten so much of the puzzle already. My split-second decision went something like: if I’m only going to get the minimum anyway, I might as well try to get my dream Italy trip that was sitting out there. I was two spots away after the spin, but joke was on me since that two spots away was the LAT.
