From Hollywood, It's America's game! The week's almost over, but the Red, White & Blue Sweepstakes continues on Monday!
Today's contestants:
Sam Costa: Software support representative for a small but growing computer firm, from Imperial, PA
Debi Rush: Regional manager for a bank in Louisville, KY (originally from New Martinsville, WV)
Nathan Nemik (returning with a 1-day total of $32,450)
The top-dollar value on the Wheel is $1,000. We are playing for cash, and here's our first puzzle:
Nathan solves DECAFFEINATED COFFEE TABLE.
Give that man some caffeine so he can actually feel excited about a $3,500 spin! Give our home viewers a Red, White & Blue puzzle!
Perfection! Nathan solves ALLIED TROOP MANEUVERS for some real cash! And there's a real word hidden in this puzzle for the home viewer!
And for real, we've got time for Sam to try and spin the $5,000 space.
DING DING! DING DING!
Nathan's wide awake as Pat will now give the Wheel a Final Spin. Consonants are worth... $5,000 a piece! It's contagious!
Sam: D ($15,000)
Debi: G ($5,000)
Nathan: S (DUD!)
Sam: M (DUD!)
Debi: L ($10,000)

CLUE |
Perfection! Sam solves MOUNT RUSHMORE STATE. He'll add $500 more to his mountain of cash if he answers the clue.
But now, he's stumped. We'll give Debi a chance. (Sam says Pennsylvania after the buzzer, though that would've been wrong.)
Debi doesn't take the bait, but she says Montana. Nathan could use some real cash.
And his answer of Colorado means we have a triple stumper! Pat then prompts the audience, and they shout South Dakota (though some say North Dakota instead).
Sam | Debi | Nathan |

Those guesses ate up some time in our Sweepstakes, but we still need Charlie to plug a Krementz 18-karat gold and diamond necklace totaling 1.98 karats (labeled DIAMONDS) worth $7,050.
We'll give Debi a chance for some real money now, and she'll be happy with a $2,500 space on the Wheel.

We trust he won't kick the envelope holder. He'll just take the second E and solve one more puzzle this week!

The other half comes down to CDMA...
...or maybe not.
He says OPEN, but he does not solve OVEN...
...so he won't be burning his hand on the $25,000. Nathan still has $45,350 and will play one more game next week.
In the post-game chat, Pat reminds us that he tries not to bore people with stories of their little boy. He's 4 years old, and Pat will sometimes give him fatherly lectures about things, and he doesn't care much, looking up at the ceiling and stuff. Recently, he did something wrong, and Pat wanted to impress on him the importance of this. Pat wants to be earnest, and for once, the boy's actually locking eye contact with Pat. Pat finishes up his speech, and the boy waits before saying... "You know you have green eyes?" Well, that's our guy.
