That Round 2 was like a throwback to the 90's. So many lost turns including a "null" left intact at the start, and the categorization was way off.

Round 3 was another one of those perfect Express runs, always great to see.

I'm guessing the Speed-Up was solved earlier than expected, hence the intact "null" in Round 2.

I got the bonus puzzle with RSTLNE. The A and P were great, but she needed to swap the C with something else to go all the way.

How in the heck was R2 considered an EVENT? It’s an object performing an action, that’s a THING.

Hello super unnecessarily padded bonus puzzle. This one felt like a PP reject but a lack of RSTLNE kept it from being one proper. The actual PP felt like a replacement for such. DIGITAL PHOTOS in of itself is a fine puzzle and the extra lengthener is quite frustrating.

However, this speaks to the niche strength of THINGS as a BR category, at least in S35+. It’s very rarely not an actual set of things (e.g. JOURNAL PAGES, GIFT BOXES, PATCHES OF FOG, etc.). Even if it is something contrived it’s usually not terrible but this is a head-scratching exception for a category I would immediately choose before PHRASE or WAYD?

Tough bonus, I couldn't think of DIGITAL either. Since almost all photos are digital now, it just doesn't come to my mind to say digital photos rather than just photos.

R2: Interesting how they kept an immediate triple BANKRUPT hit at the start of the round. And yes, that is wrong categorization.

R3: Tonisha's full Express run definitely turned this episode around.

BR: Puzzles like this make SHINY BUGLE seem like well written bonus puzzles (Did they really need to add AWESOME in front of it?). Then again, I also blame her for choosing the most generic category in the entire world. Still had it off RSTLNE.

Hawaii Week’s road to redemption didn’t get off to the best start, but Tonisha’s Express run and Andrew’s strong finish were the highlights of the night. I’m glad Julie solved a couple of Toss-Ups given her bad luck.

I no-lettered Round 4. And I dunno what combo would’ve worked in the Bonus Round for Tonisha, but it sounds like Prize Puzzle material to me.

Oh, and you gotta love the fact that the contestants are wearing Hawaiian garb. 👍🏾
