From Hollywood, It's America's game! It's the last day of Celebrity Award Winners Week!
Our final celebrity trio:
The only female performer to win the Emmy, Oscar, Grammy, and Tony...Rita Moreno! (playing for Southern Poverty Law Center)
Pulitzer Prize winner and author Dave Barry! (playing for Tactual Speech Project of Miami)
And new to NYPD Blue, Justine Miceli! (playing for American Lung Association)
The top-dollar value on the Wheel is $1,000. We are playing for cash, and here's our first puzzle:
Dave solves THEATER TICKET.
Dave really needs to make up for that mishap early on, and he could do so by hitting the $3,500 or one-third $10,000 space.
Dave says HAIR MAKE-UP & BARRETTE. He instantly realizes the last word is wrong.
Justine solves HAIR MAKE-UP & WARDROBE.
Maybe Justine could still some of those "vibes" so that the Wheel will stop on $5,000 for her.
DING DING! DING DING!
Not the slowest we've been this week, but still slow enough for Pat to give the Wheel a Final Spin. Consonants are worth... $300 a piece.
Dave: N (x3) ($2,600)
Dave beats the buzzer to solve OPENING NIGHT JITTERS.
BONUS ROUND:
One last day for us to give a $25,000 bonus to charity! Dave's crazy right now, and as long as he solves our last puzzle of the week...

Rita accidentally calls an E on $500, but since it's a celebrity special, they'll make an exception and allow her to call a consonant.
Later on, her repeated M is not acknowledged as a duplication.

Rita talks about how she would've spelled the first word as "theatre", but to be fair, it's sometimes spelled that way on this show.

On her first spin, Rita almost looks like she's about to touch the Wheel with her hands to stop it from hitting Lose A Turn. As long as she's just using "Puerto Rican vibes" without touching it, she's fine.
Then she almost falls backwards from her spot before calling the T.
When Dave calls P, the O accidentally lights up briefly, but Vanna doesn't turn it. The P then lights up.

He says it's obviously easy, but guesses HOME and SOME for the first word, and LIVE and LOVE last. He does not solve COME TO LIFE, so his charity total stays at $3,250. He keeps making fun of himself, and he tries to play it again, but he only has one shot.
In the post-game chat, Pat asks if Rita and Justine knew the answer to the bonus puzzle. They both thought it was COME TO LIVE. Dave pretends he knew it all along.
Anyway, all the celebrities had a good week.
