Finally, a good way to start the week. While not exactly out-of-this-world main game winnings, still a good watch.

I no-lettered Round 1 (though I figured IN could've worked for the second word), and remembering an earlier Express ride, I also no-lettered Round 3. I also got the Speed-Up puzzle after the S.

I got the bonus puzzle with RSTLNE. I actually figured that VACUUM might not be as hard this time. Nice solve there!

I noticed that the show has stage lights flashing at the bottom of the center video wall during the opening and I thought that the addition was only used during the WWE Tournament.

VACUUM is a tough word and I hardly seen anyone solved it before. Glad that LaShawn solved the BR puzzle on her first guess.

This is the second known win for VACUUM. VACUUM THE HOUSE (unsurprisingly, a Phrase/WAYD? swapout of a previous puzzle) on March 3, 2020 was also won.

My show airs Thursday. The lights beneath the center screen didn’t stand out to me until I saw how they looked on the monitors, but it still didn’t click that they were a “new” addition. I just remember how dazzlingly sparkly they made the set look.

When we entered the studio for the first time on tape day the set was still displaying the WWE Week colors and logos but with the cityscape set already in place. A cue card on the set read "WWE Wrestling Experience, $13,000" leading the day's eagle-eyed contestants to chatter amongst themselves (and most to worry) if that would be one of our prizes for the day. I put two and two together however and knew it must have been left over from the previous day.

Lashawn was so sweet and authentic. I'm so happy for her!

A non-quasi-compilation Great American Cities week?! 🤯 Well, I’m not surprised the set is a near duplicate of Wheel Across America.

Anyway, despite a rocky first half, the giddy Lashawn cleaned up! Her numerous spins in Round 3 kept me on the edge of my seat, but her emotional Bonus Round win was touching.

I no-lettered Rounds 1 and 3 and one-lettered Round 4, but I would never have guessed the writers would use Bay City in a puzzle. Interesting.

My rating: 7
