From the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower in Norfolk, It's America's game! Wheeeeeel Of Fortune!
Today's contestants:
Kyle Phillips: Junior and computer engineering major at Georgia Tech, from Canton, GA
Rebecca Schneider: Private Investigator and the owner of a legal document delivery service, from Chesapeake
Mark Banker (returning with a 1-day total of $14,400)
The top-dollar value on the Wheel is $1,000. We are playing for cash, and here's our first puzzle:
Rebecca solves THOMAS JEFFERSON'S MONTICELLO. Pat say we would've accepted any pronunciation of "Monticello".
Mark solves VAST ASSORTMENT, and from our assortment of prizes...he's getting a Lalique Virginia crystal bowl worth $2,215.
His crystal bowl will have to wait if he wants to receive it in one piece. The $3,500 is on the Wheel as usual, but it would've been easier if we could treat the $10,000 space as spendable cash instead of a prize.
Kyle will need to break the pattern of one lost turn per round, which is especially important if he hits the $5,000 space. Whether it's windy or not, we'll still add a SWITZERLAND trip to the Wheel.
Mark reads what's on the board. It's over for him, too.
"Mark the Vulture" leaves with a 2-day total of $17,865.

As we privately investigate how Rebecca solved that puzzle so fast, Charlie will interrupt to tell us about a pair of Klein Fervor bicycles (labeled BICYCLES) worth $3,320.
A breeze seems to be blowing things away, but the $2,500 space is staying put for this puzzle!

Rebecca clearly wanted to win the game. The audience screamed when she ended with a BANKRUPT (even though it wasn't as big as Kyle's loss), but Pat acknowledged that she did make the round exciting.

Don't you just love when someone wins with a single spin? Kyle does, and now he'd love to win a Camaro, twin Yamahas, a van, or the $25,000.
The envelopes bloom again, and Kyle promised a friend he'd pick the H. A puzzle is blooming on the board...
