I was expecting someone to say ON THE SEA for the Trip Puzzle. I wasn't expecting BEAUTIFUL for DELIGHTFUL.

Bad luck with the reveals in the fIrst Triple Toss-Up. I needed the first T before I could get it.

I got the bonus puzzle with RSTLNE. A little easier, but still a questionable Phrase.

After Rowena and Danielle’s Prize Puzzle mistake, things went downhill after the first half. At least Barb and Hayden finished with a strong total, and I’m glad Hayden listened to her grandma in the aforementioned round. Ben and Cindy barely had a shot; REAL EFFORT was a great guess in the Triple Toss-Up.

I solved the Final Spin very late with the last vowel, but I no-lettered Round 2 thanks to the hyphens (and solved Round 1 with just the T’s). And what’s with the tricky Bonus Puzzles this week?!

I wonder if some of the grandkids were alternates for Teen or College Week.
