In the final segment, Pat and Vanna have a Star Wars Ultimate Collector Edition Millennium Falcon built entirely out of Lego bricks! Lead model designer Erik Varszegi has also joined them. There are 7,541 pieces in the model, though Pat brings up the evolutionary process. Erik explains that this is the second time they've had the Millennium Falcon at this scale, produced in the early 2000's, and they decided it's time to revamp it. This time, they added a new canopy piece to bring out the look of it! Pat can bet that it's fun to put together as well.

Neil had some of the worst luck I can recall on Modern Wheel, he had a chance to really make a killing out of the maingame but fumbled at the five-yard line seemingly every time. I couldn’t even tell you the last time there was a cash bankrupt that massive, especially so early in the game. Definitely a prime contender for Fan Favorites II.

I didn’t like that BR but I really should’ve out of its sheer cleaverness. We had both VIVID IMAGINATION and YOUR IMAGINATION in the mid-2010’s (the latter of which solved with about a second remaining) but seeing it together did not strike me very well. Super vowel heavy puzzle as well so even calling an I or O doesn’t do any favors.

Yeah, those were some excruciating spins. He didn't even call a wrong letter or take a big Mystery gamble. It really was bad luck. He did get a Triple Toss-Up, but even that feels like consolation cash by comparison.

I needed her picks to solve the bonus puzzle. I thought of COMBINATION just before the three-and-a-vowel reveals, but then I realized that wouldn't work, and then I got it.

Edit: genius2751 is scheduled for tomorrow and Friday (though I could still take over for Thursday if there are scheduling issues.)

And then hitting Lose a Turn in round 2 with the trip in his bank, ugh. Poor guy.

I solved the bonus puzzle, but it was tough without much showing on the first two words.

The story so far…

Adura from yesterday had a chance to go to STAR WARS GALAXY’S EDGE, but blew his chance at the trip thinking one would be GAMING OUTSIDE THE MOVIE THEATER.

Christopher, on the other hand, won an adventure to Aulani and punched his ticket to the Million Dollar Bonus Round. Unfortunately, the Dark Side got the best of him, but he only lost $40,000.

Can any of today’s Jedi hopefuls win that trip to Galaxy’s Edge and maybe take the lead on the Bonus Round front?

Not gonna lie, I’m starting to lose interest in the show. It seems like every time that something exciting is going to happen, that moment has to be ruined (Neil’s penalty spins were a good example of this and they were definitely avoidable). Add to the fact that about half of the winner’s total came from the PP trip and it doesn’t make for some exciting television.

BR: This is also a big contribution as well although she kinda shot herself in the foot for picking that category. I had it off RSTLNE.

Kayla was a good puzzle solver, and Valerie was a hoot. She just got quite the tough Bonus Round puzzle. But boy, the first half of this episode was brutal to Neil. I’m thrilled he solved a Triple Toss-Up.

This is the third straight episode I’ve no-lettered a puzzle (in this case, the first Toss-Up). Maybe I’m more into Star Wars than I realize…? 😏
