A new kids version of Wheel of Fortune (no it’s not another Wheel 2000) is in the works, largely due to the advent of the strike. A kids version of Shark Tank is also in development. I saw the article at Facebook just now. As someone who remembers Wheel 2000 like it was yesterday and even met David Sidoni in-person face-to-face, I'm looking forward to seeing how this compares to Wheel 2000 as well as the current version. There's no question that I'm looking forward to seeing what the Wheel looks like and if some pesky creature is lurking underneath. All this will certainly be if it makes it to series.

With the news of Pat's decision, let the speculation begin on whoever hosts the kids version being groomed to be Pat's replacement on the main version.

That is if this version avoids being delayed by the impending SAG-AFTRA strike, the contact for which expires on June 30. The Kids Wheel host would very likely be part of the organization, even if they’re a total unknown, unless they just have Maggie do it since I doubt she’s part of any kind of group such as those.
