OMG i just found a new wheel by Playworks game based on the current season 39 and 40 however it is only for tv not for like android or windows i hope it comes soon for either those i do not know the wheel values i only know the board an the new colors that is it so if anyone wants to try then here it is Thank You  |

Just so everyone knows, it doesn't have to be a Roku TV. It can be any Roku device. I downloaded it on my Roku device the other day.

I was originally planning to avoid giving out any spoilers, but for the sake of those who don't have any Roku devices, you're not missing out on anything.
The Wheel spins counterclockwise and uses the Season 33-36 Round 4 layout with a third Bankrupt replacing the pink $500 and an orange $500 replacing Free Play. So no $850 or $950 here. There is no theme music here either. In fact, the sound effects are extermely limited. The cost of vowels starts at $500 each round and increases by that amount per purchase until all the correct vowels have been chosen, meaning if you purchase all five vowels, you'll be ponying up a total of $7500 as opposed to $1250. Levels are simply U.S. states in alphabetical order with a certain target score carrying you to the next state/level. You don't have to get the target in one game; you can take as many games as needed to get to the next level, but any excess money does NOT carry over into the next state/level.

Counterclockwise spinning just doesn't sound right. I remember how weird it was to see the flippers flip in the wrong direction when Pat spun the Wheel backwards for a contestant who forgot to pick up the Free Spin.

Some other facts about this game...
- Single player only. No multiplayer. You play against two AI players that just pick random letters.
- No Toss-Ups or Bonus Round. Each match is just one regular puzzle.
- The letters actually "turn" when revealed, which is pretty cool. Punctuation even turns over after the revealing of the blanks just like with the trilon board.
- No music. The Mystery sound plays when a puzzle is solved.
- The AI can missolve puzzles (I had one guess "RICKER RECLONER" for R_C_ER RECL__ER).
- The Wheel rarely, if ever, lands on Bankrupt or Lose a Turn for human players. It also doesn't appear to land on $5000. I've played over a dozen rounds and not once did I land on any of these five wedges.
- Many of the puzzles have "fun facts" after they're solved.
- If you buy the last vowel in the puzzle, the spin option will be grayed out and you must solve immediately after.
This game has nice board graphics, but is not as good a player experience as the old Roku game, which has now been removed from the channel store. But at least this new one is free.

Interesting. I didn't know there was an old one. I take it you're talking about this one, are you not? I know that was on iPad although I never owned an iPad.
Now I've yet to land on Bankrupt on this new version as far as I can recall, but I have landed on Lose A Turn at least once, and I have landed on $5000 at least three times.
