TMZ, which tends to be among the more reputable outlets for stories like this, is reporting that Vanna has signed a partial deal to continue as hostess of the celebrity primetime show for its upcoming season. Sources close to Bryan Freedman, the entertainment attorney providing her legal counsel, say that no inroads have been made by Sony to offer a contract extension that meets her salary demands for the syndicated version. If the two parties fail to reach an agreement before production begins for S42, Vanna may not join Ryan Seacrest in his debut season in 2024. www.tmz.com/2023/07/20/vanna-white-partial-deal-celebrity-wheel-of-fortune/

This was also featured on Entertainment Tonight last night. $100,000 per episode for the Celeb show.
As for Syndication, Vanna wants a raise after having not received one in close to 20 years, while Sony feels that they were overpaying Pat as it is plus the contractions in audience in traditional linear TV that aren't likely to reverse and if anything worse.

Regardless of the state of linear TV, Wheel is still one of the most-watched shows on television and pretty much outperforms everything in Primetime not named the NFL. Vanna deserves every goddamn cent she can pry out of Sony for being arguably the face of the show for 40 years and being it’s best bridge to continuity after 2024.
