From our studios in Hollywood, it's America's most watched game show! The famous Wheel is spinning your way with lots of cash and an assortment of fabulous and exciting prizes. Over $115,000 just waiting to be won this week!
WHEEL OF FORTUNE
EPISODE #1573
Pat jokes that it looks like Guys' Week over here.
Here are today's contestants!
Jerry Deutsch is form Ringoes, New Jersey, about 50 miles from Philly. He teaches science at a junior school in Irvington, New Jersey. His wife, 22-year-old Jonathan, and 17-year-old David are in the audience.
Matt Fitzpatrick is from Jackson Heights, New York. He just graduated college and is going to high school. In his spare time, he coaches Regis High School's basketball team and sells food at Shea Stadium.
Steve Nameroff - according to Pat, he just stood there for 20 minutes yesterday, and then he suddenly won $39,550 in cash and prizes! His wife is back there screaming (which she does again - Pat notes she's in the new electrified seat.)
*Matt asks if he could buy the L.
$800 could buy a bit of NEWSPAPER ADVERTISING for Jerry .
Along with the $2,500, we've also added some bold, gold earrings designed by Hammerman. 18-karat hammered gold makes a bold jewelry statement which is classic, yet contemporary. The perfect earring from day to evening. It's a gift certificate for the JEWELRY worth $2,000!
Matt tries to solve with LAND OF THE BEASTS... unfortunately, that's not right.
A modest sum for the KING OF THE BEASTS, but Steve's got another $600. He can net an additional $500 if he identifies what that is.
Steve says it's a LION!
That's certainly what Wheel isn't: SO QUIET YOU CAN HEAR A PIN DROP. Jerry gets on the board with $2,100!
Round 4 adds the $5,000 and adds a 14-karat Jules Jurgensen calendar watch in a one-piece bracelet case accented with a twelve diamond, two-tone black dial and black sapphire crown. It's a WATCH worth $4,125!
It doesn't matter if it's YESTERDAY TODAY AND TOMORROW, Matt's got $3,400 cash and some great jewelry!
DING-DING! DING-DING!
Pat'll take control from here. Vowels worth nothing, consonants worth... $500 ┬.
Matt: C ($5,400 + WATCH | DAB OF COLOGNE)
Steve: T (DUD!)
Jerry: D ($500)
Jerry can sniff up some EAU DE COLOGNE with the $500 extra he's just won.
.
Steve leaves with a 2-day total of $41,450!
What can Matt win in the bonus round? Well:
A (Yamaha) Piano worth over $22,000!
A car (1992 Mercury Sable) worth over $22,000!
A sparkling beauty from the sea, a jeweled fish worth $16,000!
...and the $25,000!
W H E E L
Matt picks the W for win.
RSTLN E... doesn't give much.
CDM A... go 0 for 4. Matt tries PEACH GROVE, APPLE GROVE, GRAVE, and FALLOW GRAVE, but it looks like he's getting the BOOBY PRIZE. He can't win the JEWELRY, but he's still got $5,400!
Some contestants might win Ricardo Beverly Hills merch.
Pat Chat: Pat notes that they gave away the French Cruise earlier, he says he thinks it's Monday. Pat finds a fake fish and fake toast made of rubber. Pat asks if it's expensive, and Nancy says the toast is worth $5.
All contestants this week will receive the official Wheel sweatshirt or t-shirt, and some might win E.J. Gitano Hosiery, Paul Mitchell Hair Products, Jovan Musk, Mineral Ice, the O' Cedar Angler, and Rice-a-Roni.
Thanks to thatvhstapeguy for uncovering the tape.
