WHEEL OF FORTUNE (DAYTIME)
PHILADELPHIA WEEK
EPISODE #2018
We're continuing Philadelphia Week, with Pat Sajak and our new hostess, Vanna White!
Here are today's contestants:
Lynn Miller
Peter "Pete" Perri, whose 1-day total is $2,750
Carol Waldorf is from Randolph, MA.
COME RAIN OR COME SHINE, Carol's got $1,250 to burn.
Hold on a second - we're going to be taking a commercial break.
GOD SAVE THE QUEEN, indeed, and let Carol ring with more cash to spend.
After a commercial break, Pat makes the announcement that on Monday, January 3rd, the show is moving a half hour later. Also, one of the prizes up for grabs is an Isuzu Deluxe Sedan.
Carol, $3,000 can buy you a lot of SPLIT PEA SOUP. Unfortunately, you've got to burn it on this showcase:
Well, time's up, so we've got a Perfect Game!
Pete (whom Pat accidentally calls "Louis", the player who won on Monday) still walks away with a total of... uh... the sun reads 20$70. That should be $2,750.
Carol decides to play for a video center and video camera package, valued at $2,490!
Carol's RTNCH E... is a bit different from the standard six, but still...
Without pausing, Carol screams out TUBE OF TOOTHPASTE! She's now got $7,740 in prizes!
End Chat: Pat and Vanna end up talking about the food of Philly. A video package of Pat at the Federal Pretzel Baking company is played, including discussion on the history and making of the pretzel.
During the credits, Jack reiterates that the show will be at a new time period starting Monday, January 3rd, 1983.
