Bret Gervais is from Nine Mile Falls, WA. It's his second year of certified teaching; before, he spent six years in the Army. He was also a touring musician for a while. Last year, he taught robotics, wood shop, and seventh-grade English. Now, he's teaching U.S. history and eighth-grade English. He teaches at Lakeside Middle School.
Maggie Jagoe is from Owensboro, KY. She's a fifth-grade English Language Arts teacher. She's got 14 nieces and nephews, which she names all of them. She teaches at Country Heights Elementary School (big Husky cheer!)

Drew just had plain bad luck tonight, but at least he had a memorable guess of NEWS AND BREWS.

I'm a little surprised they had the contestant Maggie on the Friday episode with the Fan Friday giveaway since it made a bit of an awkward transition with Pat throwing to Maggie Sajak.

Tough bonus, I couldn't think of PROFOUND either. Maybe she would've had it if she called the P.

It was nice having all three contestants with Pat and Mrs. Blue for the end chat this week. I wouldn't mind if they had the contestants with Pat and Vanna together at the end for other special weeks.

News and brews yeah I remember hearing that rumor about his lunchtime habits. I assume they have lessened based on the fact that he mostly remembers game mechanics now. (instead of letting people keep wild cards after bankrupt) i do not really judge that habit but I found it slightly funny (The the giggling way) to bring it up.

anyhow teacher of the year Mrs. Bridgette Donald-Blue made a nice Vanda. The only thing that confuse me during the end segment was she was touching the Center of the letters square. I remember hearing that was not how you were supposed to use it. I think it was either the corner of the square or a laser currently.

Maggie dominated early on, so I’m happy the men broke through towards the end. I had a feeling DIFFUSERS would trip someone up in Round 2, and Round 4 was a little messy. Pat chiding the audience about Maggie naming all of her nieces and nephews was unexpected. 😬

But as soon as Maggie picked Thing for her Bonus Round puzzle, I figured it would be a toughie. I couldn’t even think of PROFOUND.

It’s very interesting that we’ve had four consecutive episodes with two men, outside of Veterans Week.

Gameplay-wise, this week was OK. But I enjoyed this season’s teaching contestants. Bridgette did a good job at the board, and her advice was top-tier. 👏🏾
