That celebratory episode is one of my favorite episodes of the show ever. In the days before I had internet, I remember my eight-year-old self being introduced to so many things about the show that I never knew about before. The bumper for Tiger's Wheel of Fortune Slots made for a fabulous finale to a great episode. Wanting that game since that episode aired, I would get it for Christmas just a month later.

I remember the 4000th episode from Radio City Music Hall (I think) was very similar in the fact that there were no contestants or regular gameplay. I think if they were to do something like this now, it would be better if it was a primetime special and not an actual episode.
