From Sony Pictures Studio, it's America's game! This is Great Northwest Week!
Our players stand up, because we kick things off with a Toss-Up!
Go!
David solves FERRYBOAT CAPTAIN.
Off the ferry and into our studio:
David Yu: Support engineer for a software company, from San Francisco, CA
Amira Camon: Co-owner of a multimedia company that she owns and runs, from San Diego, CA
Jodie Murray: Student at the University of Texas working on his bachelor science and nursing, formerly a diver in the Navy for 8 years; from Palestine, TX
And boarding...where else besides the puzzleboard? It's another Toss-Up!
Go!
Amira solves CHEESE GRATER. And being from Minnesota, she's grated a lot of it.
It's a shame that the $10,000 space was grated down to one third of the size that we really wanted.
David solves SIBERIAN HUSKY.
Pulling in our prize wedge for the day, we now add a trip to Victoria and stay at the Hotel Grand Pacific (labeled NORTHWEST) worth $3,700.
They were also able to bring in a Jackpot space without any extra trouble.
Jodie reads what's on the board. And to think, all that work/play from Amira could not pay off.
Do you feel like playing around with one of those Mystery Wedges? We have one space that hides a BANKRUPT and another that hides a Sony Style gift certificate worth $10,000.
Perfection! David solves WHEN IT RAINS IT POURS. More money will be pouring in, $3,000 more to be exact, if he knows whose slogan it is.
The right way to top a perfect round. It's Morton Salt. "And if you can tell me within 10 years of when that slogan was adopted, I'll give you a bottle of water." David skips that one. It's 1914.
The money just won't stop pouring in! How about some more from this next Toss-Up?
Go!
Jodie solves TACOMA WASHINGTON.
Thankfully, their council won't personally have to cover the winnings from a $5,000 spin. We'll take care of it.
David solves WE'RE OUT OF TIME.
Did you think we were serious about that? Nah, we have some time for another round.
DING DING! DING DING!
Just some time. Pat must give the Wheel a Final Spin. Consonants are worth $900 + $1,000 for $1,900 a piece. David starts.
David: T ($1,900)
Amira: N (DUD!)
Jodie: L ($1,900)
David: R (x4) ($9,500)
Amira: S (x3) ($5,700)
Jodie: P ($3,800)
David: C ($11,400)
David solves CLUSTER OF RASPBERRIES.
BONUS ROUND:
RSTLNE gives him:
CDGA gives him a few important letters...

In the post-game chat, Pat asks if Vanna plays Bingo. She hasn't for a long time, but she knows how it works. She remembers "B-16"...except Pat knows it only does up to 15. Is it "5-10-15-20-25"? Not that, either. It's "15-30-45-60-75". Pat thinks Vanna cheated at Bingo, obviously. "O-97!"
