From Radio City Music Hall in New York, it's America's game! This is Best Friends Week!
Friendship lives on, but this Toss-Up will not! Take that money while you can!
Go!
Shailah & Corey say ALICE AND JUGHEAD. A few more letters, and they know it.
Karin & Talin solve ARCHIE AND JUGHEAD.
Our midweek teams:
Karin & Talin: Met way back in elementary school. Karin is a student at NYU from the city, studying architecture and design. Talin is a senior at Boston College studying business, and she spent the semester in Australia.
Rick & John: Met about 30 years ago, and both were from Charleston, WV before Rick moved to NYC. Rick works for the Mabel Mercer Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving the American phone book, and he works backstage at Chicago. John is a school teacher for a bunch of Grade 6, 7, and 8 students, and he's the musical director for local community light opera.
Shailah & Corey: Shailah is a model and modeling instructor, originally from Portland, OR. Corey is a "combination geek/entrepreneur/plus-size model" originally from Omaha, NE. Both have been living in New York for 20 years.
Go!
Rick & John solve NEXT-DOOR NEIGHBOR.
There's some not-so-friendly neighbors surrounding that $10,000 space. It deserves better than this.
Shailah & Corey solve RECALLING FOND MEMORIES.
Karin & Talin solve MADISON SQUARE GARDEN.
Don't recall which one's the correct Mystery Wedge? Well, you shouldn't anyway. It's just a guess which one's the BANKRUPT and which one's a Macy's gift certificate worth $10,000.
Karin & Talin solve DINNER FOR TWO PEAS IN A POD to take the Colorado trip.
Go!
Shailah & Corey solve COMING ON STRONG.
They've almost caught up, but they should try to leap ahead with a $5,000 spin!
DING DING! DING DING!
Well, only one consonant should be enough for the reds after Pat gives the Wheel a Final Spin. Consonants are worth $900 + $1,000 for $1,900 a piece.
Karin & Talin: N (x2) ($5,600)
Rick & John: G (x2) ($3,800)
Rick & John solve GOOD MORNING AMERICA.
BONUS ROUND:
RSTLNE gives them:

In the post-game chat, Pat and Vanna talk about a fire station that she went to a while back. They did some promotions, and sometimes, real life intrudes. As Vanna throws to commercial, they got a real signal that everyone has to leave, so Vanna had to clear outta there. At least we got to watch the firetruck race out of there! Still a fun experience.
