From Sony Pictures Studio, it's America's game! This is Sand & Sea Week!
Just stretch your arms a little before spinning. Reaching for those Toss-Up devices will be healthy for you.
Go!
Katharine solves SEAFOOD MEDLEY. She almost answered before buzzing in.
Next on Sandwich & Seafood week:
Katharine Herskovic: "Single but taken" with a boyfriend, and she works for "the biggest coffee company in the world" but wants a career in voiceovers and comedies; from Encino, CA
Eleni Vitaliotis: Auditor for Suffolk County currently looking to buy her first home; from Centereach, NY
Steve Rathbone: Emergency planning coordinator, also plays Santa Claus every year; from Novato, CA
Go!
Katharine solves ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES.
With the tiny $10,000 space arriving, there's a 2/3 chance your money will be departing. Can you beat the odds?
Eleni solves CHILDREN'S POP-UP BOOKS.
Perfection! Eleni solves THICK PLUSH BEACH TOWELS (clarifying after what sounded like "plus" on the second word) for lots of money...plus a Prize Puzzle reward! She's won a holiday in San Juan, Puerto Rico worth $6,800!
We must keep those Mystery Wedges dry at all costs. Speaking of costs, you'll want to avoid the one with a BANKRUPT. You're hoping for the one with a Bloomingdale's gift certificate worth $10,000.
Eleni reads what's on the board.
Go!
Steve solves THE GONG SHOW.
He doesn't want to get "gonged" by the Wheel itself.
DING DING! DING DING!
And he won't, because we're out of time. Pat will give the Wheel a Final Spin, and consonants are worth $600 + $1,000 for $1,600 a piece. Steve starts.
Steve: R (DUD!)
Katharine: T (DUD!)
Eleni: S (x2) ($3,200)

You know what would be fun to have? Pop-up prize wedges. We should've done that for a holiday at the JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa (labeled THAILAND) worth $8,390.
As for the Jackpot wedge, we'd only have to design it once and we could use it repeatedly.

BCDO are the choices today...
...and now the pain is rushing in.
She says FOXER, and that's it. She does not solve VIPER...
...and it's also a pain to see the $30,000 inside. Eleni leaves with $22,950 in cash and trip. We get to see her mom and sister in the audience, since Pat forgot.
In the post-game chat, Vanna talks about Brett Evans who dreamed of a better life for his family. Life is a little easier after he won big. Before that, he was struggling, and he needed a hand...or a THUMB. On the show, he won a boat, a hot tub, a minivan, and cash for a total of $89,504 in cash and prizes. He was then able to put a down payment on a new house. With a new minivan and a home to call their own, he and his family are finally able to relax a little.
We'll see you again on "Starsky & Hutch" Week!
