From the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, it's America's game! Our final day of Teen Best Friends week begins.
Ending the week will now be a tough act to follow after a big win, and starting with a small Toss-Up just rubs it in.
Go!
Elizabeth & Tyler solve THE DREAM TEAM.
Dreaming of another big win:
Elizabeth & Tyler: Their families have been friends for 10 years, though this duo has only been friends for the past couple of years. Elizabeth is into art, enjoying painting and drawing and reading about it. Tyler plays a lot of music (classical in particular), and he's in his first year in the Philadelphia Symphony Youth Orchestra. Both are from Bala Cynwyd.
Melissa & Katelyn: 10th Graders who've known each other for 10 years. Melissa enjoys tutoring young children at the library so they can read, and she's been playing piano since Grade 2. Katelyn has been playing clarinet for about 6-7 years, and she enjoys reading and acting. Both are from Abington.
Jarrell & Marty: Met when Marty was walking to his mom's car, Jarrell saw Marty had a piece of chicken and said "Let me get some of that", which was "kinda random". Jarrell just hangs out with friends as much as he can. Marty plays baseball and hangs out with Jarrell.
Go!
Jarrell & Marty solve POCONO MOUNTAINS, also before their names were called.
We can make some of their dreams come true with a $10,000 prize, though is landing on that space just a dream?
Elizabeth & Tyler solve A FAVORITE PAIR OF JEANS, though their total is not bumped up.
Leading to just a favorite prize. It doesn't have to be your favorite. Still, we think they'll like a TicketsNow.com gift certificate for sports, concerts, theatre, or package tours (labeled SPREE) worth $5,000.
Melissa & Katelyn solve SCREAMING ROLLER COASTER RIDERS for the tickets. We should cover our ears after telling them it's a Prize Puzzle! They've just scored a Paramount Parks theme park holiday of their choice worth $8,850!
A pair of Mystery Wedges contributes to our emotional roller coaster. They're nervous, because they might flip the BANKRUPT, but they might flip the Sony Style shopping spree worth $10,000.
Perfection! Melissa & Katelyn solve MOM CAN I BORROW THE CAR?.
Go!
Melissa & Katelyn solve DOUBLE ESPRESSO ...or "expresso".
As if they even need it with all that energy. They can start our round now.
DING DING! DING DING!
Even without all that energy, they can rest and watch Pat give the Wheel a Final Spin. Consonants are worth $600 + $1,000 for $1,600 a piece. Make way for blue!
Melissa & Katelyn: T (DUD!)
Jarrell & Marty: R (x2) ($3,200)
Elizabeth & Tyler: S ($1,600)
Melissa & Katelyn: G (DUD!)
Jarrell & Marty: A ($3,200)
Elizabeth & Tyler: N (DUD!)
Melissa & Katelyn: L (x2) ($3,200)
Jarrell & Marty: P ($4,800)
Elizabeth & Tyler: E (x2) ($1,600)
Melissa & Katelyn: B ($4,800) (They called it just as yellow was buzzed.)
Jarrell & Marty: C (x2) ($8,000)
Jarrell & Marty solve SUPER BOWL COMMERCIAL.
BONUS ROUND:
And to finish the week, it's Melissa & Katelyn in Bonus Land, with one more chance for us to give away cars or cash up to $100,000.
