Well, even in the face of no Bonus Round wins this week along with a $100,000 miss-out, I always try to find at least one source of solace, and we actually got quite a bit of solace indeed this week. For one, all fifteen contestants won something, and that's something I always like to see. Then again, who doesn't? We had a couple five-figure third-place finishes, and that's really nice. We even had multiple contestants go to the Bonus Round with all-cash totals. That's a rare treat with the Prize Puzzle usually being the difference.

In addition, Wheel Around the World Week is my favorite week of every season, but Wheel Around the World weeks from recent seasons seemed to become a bit stagnant. This week, however, was different. I was very pleased to see the German, Mexican, and British versions being featured. I was also a bit surprised to see the British version featured considering it premiered less than a month before this week aired. Even so, although I wasn't fooled by Wednesday's British intro, I still thought it was a very clever and fun idea. Hopefully, with Turkey's version recently brought back, and the Australian and Italian revivals on the horizon, we can keep Wheel Around the World Week a fresh and exciting week in the years to come.

Wow, who would've ever thought a contestant who won the trip wedge on the wheel AND the Prize Puzzle trip would not be the big winner? Great job by Pam to snatch the win away in the Speed Up, and Nina made a nice total for herself as well with the TTU sweep.

Ugh, another bonus round defeat. Maybe needed the I to be able to solve it. Hopefully it won't be long before we start getting some more bonus puzzle solves.

Another five-figure game that took plenty of twists and turns was a nice way to close out the week, and everyone was a great sport.

Pam had an awesome story and souvenir. The Bonus Round puzzle was tricky, but the I’s might have helped her solve it.

I would’ve liked to see a Bonus Round win this week, it had its ups, such as Wednesday and Friday’s matches and Shalocmont’s big Prize Puzzle. I also liked that no one was stuck with the consolation prize.
