So, after binging and analyzing the recent revival of Wheel in the UK, I decided to try and create a set of layouts to give a concept of what the British Format could look like in the States. As always, major credit to MarioGS and wheelgenius for the assets used to make these layouts. First, the Bare Wheel itself...
Wanted to keep it close to Modern Day, with the old Orange $800 prior to S33. (Tbh I feel that's what the current US layout needs, but I don't wokr there, so...) The British Wheel's second Bankrupt would normally go between the Pink 6 and Purple 6.5, but I decided to keep it near Top Value and Orange 9, for old time's sake.
Now, for the format of the games and Wheels themselves...
ACT 1: FIRST TRIPLE TOSS-UP & 2 MAIN ROUNDS
After the first Triple Toss-Up ($1000 per puzzle), 2 Main Rounds are played, these are the layouts:
Two spot prizes (Prize Tags) are featured, and when claimed, the Players will keep the prize(s) regardless of how they finish during the rest of the game. Prize values are NOT factored into the overall totals. I was debating on what the 1st top value should be, ultimately settling on $1500. The second Main round is boasting the JACKPOT, which works the same way as it did before its retirement in Season 31.
ACT 2: SECOND TRIPLE TOSS-UP & MAIN ROUND
Following another Triple Toss-Up, the 3rd Main Round begins, with this layout...
At this stage of the game, the MDW now becomes active until Act 4. Same rules for the Million apply here, the collector must win the overall game whilst avoid the BANKRUPT to have a chance at the Million in the Bonus Round. The top value is $2500 for this round only.
ACT 3: THIRD TRIPLE TOSS-UP & 2 MAIN ROUNDS
At this stage of the game, Triple Toss-Ups now yield $2000 per puzzle, and 2 more main Rounds follow, one of them is a specialty round, as indicated here:
The first of the 2 rounds is the MYSTERY Round, with the prize under the right wedge being a car. This is the only round in my Primetime format that offers a car, actually. The second round is the same, sans Mystery Wedges, Top value is $3500.
FINAL ACT: LAST TRIPLE TOSS-UP & SPEED-UP ROUND
After one final Triple Toss-Up, the final puzzle is played with this layout...
I gotta admit, this was probably one of the most interesting sets I've worked on. Hope you guys enjoy them
