I know people were talking about this back in Season 33 since they had the yellow $900 reduced to $600 for all rounds except Round 3 because of the Express Wedge. Of course, as you know, 5 years ago TODAY, that wedge returned to being $900 the entire game. They had three wedge cuts for that section. A "$500-$600-$700" wedge cut used for Seasons 33-36, a "$500-$900" wedge cut used for the Express round since Season 31 (I thought they used this wedge cut for Season 30 for the Jackpot wedge but they didn't since the Jackpot was not like Free Play and Express) and a "$500-$900-$700" wedge cut used from Season 31 to early Season 33 and then used again since Season 36. MarioGS showed this back in 2015 of the Wheel wedge cuts. Now, since Free Play was retired, I wonder what the wedge cuts look like now. Before Free Play was introduced, it was one whole section. Did they go back to one whole section or just make a new section with "Bankrupt-$650-$850"? I know they still used the wedge cuts above for XL weeks in Season 40. So what do the wedge cuts look like now? Is it like this? With one whole new section? Or is it like this? With a new section with "Bankrupt-$650-$850"? Thanks to MarioGS for the original wedge cut photo and wedges.

it's the second option, considering how that 850 is a 950 on Celebrity WOF

The Bankrupt and purple $650 are its own section. The yellow $850 and orange $950 are each their own wedges.

^ Oh. Also, is the red $700 separate now as well? Or is it still like before with two different "$500-$900" and "$500-$900-$700"? You said for Season 30 Jackpot had the red $700 as a separate wedge.

they probably do the same as before, due to that red 700 being the home to the Express wedge in round 3 these days

Red $700 is a separate wedge. They take it fully off the wheel, down to the metal, for the Express.

^ Yes. I thought thats what it was like now. So no more "$500-$900-$700" section. Just a "$500-900" and a separate red $700. This means the reason the yellow $900 returned was because of a redesign of the wedge cuts and not because the budget got better. The show was still having budget issues at the time of the yellow $900 return. When the yellow $900 returned, James Holzhauers Jeopardy run was going on. This led to harder Bonus Round puzzles. The first week with the second permanent $900 had no BR wins. And two $100,000 losses. However the second taped week with the second permanent yellow $900 had a 4-1 week. But then there was 20 Bonus Losses in a row in May 2019. And by taping order, MarioGS said the last 28 taped shows of S36 had BR losses. Still, if they are going to have two $900 wedges, we need another $800 wedge since there is two $900's but one $800. Decrease the orange $900 to $800? Also, since half cars and the Gift Tag were retired, I thought the Wild Card should move back to it's original location. And return the purple $550 as well!
