Chuck Woolery's thoughts on Pat Sajak's retirement

okay I watched the very beginning before making notes (it also took me 2 minutes to find where I usually put my drafts) I cannot rewind on my device, only start from the beginning. so sorry if some of it is clunky. I also wrote this late (not today, I polished it slightly) and it is not like I have an editor.

even though Chuck mention he and Pat do not know each other. (not sure that I completely believe they never bumped into each other casually but definitely possible) it was great to hear from him on all of this even if Chuck said the reasonable thing of he has been doing it for a long while and definitely has the money to retire. (which I have a feeling people want to hear something more 'exciting', knowing the media) sometimes simple and logical works. it was hilarious how the fox host literally threw it in his face of the obvious what if elephant in the room by the it "could have been you" if you were not fired.

there was a portion when he was going about his experiences I wish I could rewind but I would literally have to watch it from the very beginning again and I was not doing that. he was great to watch, it was easy to see how he was a good host. (granted I have watched some of his episodes and enjoyed them during Covid) there might have been something towards the end I missed since I was tuning it out when they were talking too much about the 80s game show promotion but this was my take on it.
